Aries
The adventurers of the Zodiac and enthusiastic doers (although sometimes a little impulsive), Aries have all the energy they need to make the most of their money year. Put that enthusiasm for life and adventure to good use and make reaching your money goals a key challenge for your 2012. But also keep in mind that Aries’-inclination to act first and ask questions later, as well as your trusting nature. In all things money it’s wise to balance your enthusiasm and desire to just-do-it, with careful planning and getting the right advice.

Taurus
The most determined of the Zodiac, our Taureans are often driven by a need for emotional and financial security. Usually not that keen on change and focussed on using their unmatched determination to create a secure tomorrow in advance, Taureans can run the risk of missing out on opportunities. We’re all for creating security, but sometimes taking stock and making a few changes can deliver a much better result. Keep an open money-mind in 2012.

Gemini
Quick, intelligent and with a thirst for variety, our Geminis are a force of nature. Often curiosity and hunger for knowledge mean Geminis are pretty good at making money, but their lust for variety and spice of life can mean they’re just as good at spending it. We know you love to know a little bit about a lot of things, but not too much about one subject – it’s about variety right! Imagine if you focussed that quick wit on further developing your money management nous. That’s a force to be reckoned with in 2012.

Cancer
One of the more compassionate and caring signs of the Zodiac, our Cancerians are often driven by a need to feel safe, whether romantically, financially or emotionally. In today’s busy and changing world, that can be a bit of an ask. If you’re looking for more security and a feeling financial safety, we have one word for your money management in 2012: knowledge. Arm yourself with information, as much as you can get, and financial security will feel a lot closer.

Leo
The leader of the Zodiac, our Leo’s are trendsetters, positive thinkers and adventurous. That certainly makes for some fun and games when it comes to money. Being positive and bold with your money choices can be a lucrative strategy, but can also be cause for pause at times. This year, have a think about your money choices in the past, what’s worked, what hasn’t and the reasons for it. If that natural inclination to take the lead has led to less favourable results, think about taking a little more caution in 2012.

Virgo
One of the most giving signs of the Zodiac, Virgos are often driven by the need to do the right thing by others. They’re exceptionally trusting and have an endearing ability to maintain their faith in people, even when it might not be deserved. Without losing your caring way, maybe 2012 is the year to think about what you need as well as others. Libra
‘A love for keeping it simple’ is a good way to sum up many of our Librans. Living an easy, uncomplicated life is a key goal and one that offers the consistency our Libra’s hanker for. It sure is a wise strategy for navigating the increasingly complicated world we live in. There’s nothing like a solid plan to keep things easy and uncomplicated, so for our Librans who feel their finances could do with some simplification, our 2012 tip is plan, plan, plan. Bring it altogether and work out how your finances could be more straightforward and manageable.

Scorpio
Resilient and wise, Scorpios are often considered old souls, probably because they seem to know all the answers. A fiercely passionate sign, Scorpios are driven to succeed and in many cases do. This year, turn that intensity and natural wisdom to your finances, but be careful to weigh your choices and plans with other information and advice. Great money management comes from a combination of personal knowledge and energy as well as a healthy dose of expert advice and information.

Sagittarius
The optimism of Sagittarians is truly infectious. Believing anything is possible, with natural exuberance and a desire to make the world a better place; our Sagittarians are well known for going for what they set their sights on, regardless of the challenges. Aquarius
The Zodiac’s thinker, Aquarians are often happiest when they have purpose; something to believe in. It’s probably why many Aquarians have strong political and social beliefs, and are involved in humanitarian endeavours. Often, we make our money work best for us when we know why: for example, building a life with a partner, travelling and exploring. This year, think more about your money in terms of the role in plays in the things that are important to you, rather than dollars and cents on a spreadsheet.

Pisces
Pisces are often very talented people in many ways. Highly intuitive and artistic, one of the key challenges for Pisceans is finding a balance between the day-to-day world and their highly developed imagination and intuition. Of course, being non-analytical by nature can make dealing with money a bit harder. This year, encourage some left brain thinking to ensure you have all the facts and a true picture of your finances, then let your imagination go wild.
